Thoughts on DIY permanent makeup?
Okay, I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out.
I don't have any eyebrows because of trichotillomania. A few years ago, I had them tattooed by a permanent makeup artist. It was like $400 and was my graduation present from my mom. I liked the results, but now, three years later, the tattoo has faded and is barely visible - I look like I have no eyebrows without makeup over the tatoo.
I was looking at permanent makeup tattoo kits on ebay, and they are around $90. I don't know much about tattooing, but I have a steady hand and have always been artistic and know what looks visually appealing. I was thinking I could just go over what is already there.
Any thoughts on this, or advice from someone who is more savvy on tattooing? I really can't afford to go to a professional again.
If it's faded, go back and say, "Hey! Permanent... ha! Look at my brows!"
I wouldn't do it yourself... what if you mess up? You can't just wash it off...

And show the makeup artist the webpage, say, That is a $310 difference... hmmm... I want a better price, what can you do, especially since your procedure (or whatever you call it 
) Is not permanent, as promised.
